Cancelled for 2026
The KSMFestival had it's rental agreement with Beetbox Farm increased by 400% for 2026. The festival just could not absorb that increased cost. We were able to find another venue in late spring, but we felt that it was too far away for our team of west Ottawa volunteers to convienently set up. So we decided to cancel the KSMF for one year and regroup for 2027. We might be re-locating the KSMF to Pine & Birch Ranch and Retreat near Wakefield next year. The property is very beautiful and is already set up for outdoor live music events! STAY TUNED!

THE FESTIVAL
Kichesippi Shores Music Festival is a back to basics, grassroots festival for local Ottawa bands and local music lovers.

There are no corporate sponsors and all the food and beverage vendors are local to the festival area.
This is a wristband controlled event. All guests, volunteers and performers must get a writstband at the front gate.

When you arrive at the festival follow the guidance of the parking attendants. They will direct you to park in the field to the west or along the lane way on the east side. Walk to the Admissions Table to exchange your online ticket receipt for a wristband or buy a ticket at the gate and get a wristband. ENJOY THE MUSIC AND THE VENUE!

SPONSORSHIP: The FULL Budget for this festival is about $18000.00. The BREAK EVEN Budget where most musicians have ti play for FREE is about $9500. In the past few years we have relied on the generosity of most musicians playing for free as we built our crowd. This year (Season 4) we would like to have 400-500 paid guests and be able to pay all of our musicians. We will need to find many local sponsors to make this happen. If your business or any local business you know could sponsor the festival that would be super swell.
$100 pays for 1 Amateur Musician
$200 pays for 1 Professional Musician
$500 pays for 1 Amateur Band
$1000 pays for 1 Professional Band
